Setting up your billing information

Upon registration, you automatically have free 1000 characters for doing research. However, if you exhaust your free characters, you will be prompted to subscribe to be able to continue doing research with Silatus AI. You can subscribe on a pay-as-you-go plan where you can purchase several characters or simply go with the usual subscription model.

To set up your payment method information, you can follow the steps laid out below:

Note: By default, you should be redirected to the billing page after you exhaust your free 1000 characters. However, if you are not on the Billing page, take the steps below to access it.

Step 1: Click on your account name from the top-right corner or bottom-left corner of your account area.

Step 2: Select Billing from the options that pop-up immediately after you click on your account name.

Step 3: On the Billing are the Pro and Pro+ subscription plans that come in monthly and yearly options. Review and select the one that fits your budget, scroll down on the page, and hit Subscribe at the bottom of whichever plan you decide to subscribe to.

Note: The subscription plans are set to yearly by default. To see monthly options, click the Monthly tab at the top of the plans.

Step 4: Select your payment method on the Billing page, provide the necessary information in the appropriate boxes (for example, provide your cardholder information if you are using a credit card), and click Subscribe below the form.

After completing all the steps above, your billing information should be added, and you should be able to start doing research with Silatus AI again.
