Uploading your first files

If you have successfully set up your account, you can commence doing research by using Silatus AI's research function, or you can simply upload existing files from your device folder or cloud accounts (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive) and run commands on them using the My Files function.

To upload your first files and run commands on them, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: From any portion of your account, access your My Files page by clicking on it on the left panel.

Step 2: Locate and click the Upload Files button from the options at the top of the page to see the different sources you can import files from.

Step 3: On the pop-up page, select the source of the file you want to upload by clicking on the applicable source button/logo. You could also just drag or copy the file from the applicable source and drop or paste it on the page.

Note: If you are uploading from a cloud source such as Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive rather than your computer, you will be required to first connect the applicable cloud source to Silatus.

Step 4: Once you’ve selected the file from the applicable source, click the Upload 1 file and wait a few moments as Silatus AI imports the file into your My Files section.

Note: You can upload multiple files at once by simply selecting the applicable files and selecting the Upload file button at the bottom.

You should now see the file as a .txt file format. And you can now run commands or take actions on it. See the article “How to take actions with your files” to learn how to run commands on the files you just uploaded.
